I’m Sujith Artopia. a photo-artist based in Mangalore, Karnataka. I have been doing Theatre photography for over 5 years now with a focus on creativity and art. Though it has been a long journey everyday it feels like I am starting it afresh.

This fascinating passion is helping me introspect and understand myself better.

I was not sure about my style; I started capturing almost everything in my early career. At certain point, I started capturing portraits and emotions. I documented lot of Yakshagana plays in the beginning; and then drifted towards Bharatanatyam. It’s been over 4-5 years I’m still learning,understanding and trying to master the light. Story telling is one of the main aspect in photography; every picture must convey a message or speak to us; in other words it must be visually appealing to the audience. I have tried to cover various art forms so far; and I would say the journey that i chose have taught me so many things that I never imagined.
